Position Available: Manager, Information Technology

 

Daily Responsibilities:

 

As the Information Technology Manager you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist IT staff and end users resolve application problems
• Respond to and resolve end user technical problems regarding equipment and software performance and capabilities
• Install/maintain all systems, new releases and upgrades, and supporting products
• Perform required system backups
• Maintain an inventory of all hardware devices
• Perform actions to correct software or system problems.
• Maintain incident tracking system from the input of issues through the resolutions, including any necessary escalation.
• Maintain a highly competent knowledge of relevant products, current support policies, and methods of support delivery.
• Ability to troubleshoot operating system and hardware issues.
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Communicate with managers and clients on job or deadline issues
• Coordinate installation of workstations and printers on the LAN (as needed)
• Add and maintain users on the network; assign application access, set up security, and ensure that user configurations meet company IT standards
• Perform system checks and proactive monitoring. 

 

Qualifications: 

• BS/BA with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• The ideal candidate for this position will be performance driven, have outstanding interpersonal skills, and a strong working knowledge of the technical requirements outlined above.
• Eagerness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment and a willingness to accept ownership and responsibility of the IT infrastructure to ensure its 24x7 availability.
